Course Objectives

This course equips course participants with the fundamentals and practical application of health care meridian, helping their clients striving a delicate balance in meridian Qi and promoting smooth blood circulation. As a consequence, it resulted in healthy skin complexion and overall well-being Competencies that are acquired enable them to perform a range of healthcare meridian techniques to support their clients in maintaining overall well-being.


Course Learning Outcome
  • Learner is able to identify 10 acupuncture points in head & shoulder
  • Learner is able to perform health care meridian in head & shoulder care

Pre-requisites
  • Aged 21 years and above.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in beauty and personal care industry.
  • Possess some knowledge about beauty and personal care products such as cosmetics, skin care and beauty and personal treatments.
  • Education level of at least Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 or its equivalent.
  • SOQ shall counsel and advise applicants without meeting the education, literacy and numeracy requirement that they may not be able to comprehend the content, keep up pace of training and/or cope with assessment conducted. Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be discouraged from enrolling in the programme.


Cognitive Level (Low to Mid):

  • Participants possess at least primary education or its equivalent
  • Basic command of English language and able to converse in English and/or Chinese language


Affective Level (Mid to High):

  • Employer-sponsored individuals who are self-motivated to hone their skills and competencies in the beauty and wellness industry
  • Employer-sponsored individuals who possess strong interests in grooming their professional career in the beauty and wellness industry


Sociality Level (Low to Mid):

  • Some experience in working and collaborating in team environment
  • Relevant experience in interacting with customer
