The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the massage industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3. It also provides a sound platform into further training at level 3 and 4.

Underpinning Knowledge
1. Requirement to perform the holistic massage skills
2. Development of massage setting, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving
3. Develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a massage therapist
4. Related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential in order to work and be successful in the industry
Abilities
1. Carry out pre-treatment activities– to include consultation and contra-indications, selecting suitable massage mediums for the client’s skin type,
classical lymphatic drainage movements and adapting the treatment to the client’s specific needs
2. Conduct treatment for contraindication
3. Demonstrate the compliance of holistic massage
4. Carry out post-treatment activities
• At least 16 years old & above
• Language: English – Min GCE “N” Level English grade C6 (50% or higher); or at least IELTS 4.5 or higher
• SOQ may consider if the applicants have at least 3 years of working experience in relevant industry to determine if the candidates is allow to join the course.
• Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be counsel and advise to enrol into other suitable programmes.

• Registration Fees refer to the price that the student pays the school for the sole purpose of processing the application requirements, and it is non-refunable.
• The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course
• The Course Fee are non-refundable, unless there is no future class commence date by SOQ International Academy
• The minimum number of students that is required before a class commences is 6 pax, in the event the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, SOQ International Academy will notify the students at least 7 days in advance and provide an alternate commerce date.
