The main aim of the Diploma in Professional Eyelash Extension is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in eyelash extension to the public and to gain employment or manage business in the beauty industry. This qualification is for learners who want to work as lashes artists.
The qualification consists of 3 mandatory units with a total of 192 hours of Guided Learning (GL) to achieve the full qualification. The mandatory module and skills the learner will perform are:
• Health and safety practice in the salon
Health, safety and hygiene – contextualised to the environment in which the learner is working
• Provide Eyelash Extension
- Application of individual eyelash extensions to include carrying out skin tests, products, tools and techniques to suit the client’s treatment needs
- Working within the beauty related industries
• Professional conduct and business awareness
Consultation techniques – to include understanding the needs of clients and when and when not to treat them, contra-indications, referral procedures explaining possible contra-actions, providing aftercare and homecare advice
The learner will also develop knowledge about current legislation and working practice requirements and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the industry.

At the end of the Professional Eyelash Extension Course, participants will be able to acquire the following:

• At least 16 years old
• Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50%) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience
• Language Requirement: At least a Grade 5 (Min 50%) at N-Level English or IELTS 4.5

• All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD), and no GST.
• Registration Fees refer to the price that the student pays the school for the sole purpose of processing the application requirements, and it is non-refunable.
• The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course
• The Course Fee are non-refundable, unless there is no future class commence date by SOQ International Academy
• The minimum number of students that is required before a class commences is 6 pax, in the event the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, SOQ International Academy will notify the students at least 7 days in advance and provide an alternate commerce date.
